Naomi is a retired playground designer. Having worked 19 years for a Danish company she set up her own company in 2008. Building hundreds of play spaces for communities across the UK.
More recently she worked as a Ranger for Birdwise North Kent. Patrolling the North coast of Kent to help protect our internationally important migrant and native birds. She delivers meals in wheels to the elderly all across Whitstable.
A Seasalter resident she is keen all year sea swimmer and can often be seen walking for miles around Kent.
Naomi has a passion for protecting our environment including our sea and foreshore. Along with many in Seasalter she is fed up with the lame excuses from Southern Water who fill our sea with sewage. In 2019 she led a community campaign to improve the provision of litter bins along our coastline.
If elected, Naomi would continue to pressure Southern Water on for improvements.
Better provision of public space for sport and leisure along with the urgent need for safe, affordable housing at social rent are among her top priorities when elected.
