Paul Todd is Wincheap through and through. He and his family live in the ward and he can often be found visiting relatives in Thanington.
Paul wants the area to thrive, and as a councillor he would be sure to make sure that Wincheap and Thanington got its fair share of investment. Attracting new businesses and leisure opportunities would be a priority for him and he strongly believes that promoting and improving the Industrial estate would bring quality jobs to the area.
His aim is to see Wincheap and Thanington become the best place to live in Canterbury and he would work hard to make sure that the council looks after local streets and open spaces and makes flytipping, dog mess and graffiti a thing of the past.
The provision of properly affordable housing is a priority for Paul; he wants people who grow up in Wincheap and Thanington to be able to live in the ward when they start their own families. He would ensure that Canterbury City Council gives a voice to residents when making major planning decisions.
Paul Todd believes he is good for Wincheap and Thanington. He is already a resident association representative, a school governor at Wincheap School and has always promoted local people. Voting for Paul as your councillor is a vote for the best future for Wincheap.
